Dr. Sarajaneé Davis was born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia. She graduated from UVA with a B.A. in African American and African Studies and Political & Social Thought. Sarajaneé earned her Ph.D. in History from Ohio State University in 2020. An avid reader turned digital historian and educator, Sarajaneé is committed to increasing access to inclusive histories. Her current work focuses on amplifying Black historical perspectives in order to create an equitable future.
