Kiana Knight is a Ph.D. candidate in Africana Studies at Brown University. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in History from North Carolina Central University and a Master’s Degree in History from the University of Pittsburgh. Her dissertation explores bilingual Black women’s activism in the U.S. and Caribbean during the twentieth century. Kiana’s research interests include Black transnational feminisms, Black internationalism, and the African Diaspora.
