Marc Horger

Marc Horger is Senior Lecturer of sport industry in the Department of Human Sciences. He teaches courses in the history of American sport and recreation. He specializes in basketball, intercollegiate athletics, and the cultural and intellectual history of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries in the United States. Horger has been published in New England Quarterly and the Journal of Sport History. He is also an occasional contributor to Origins: Current Events in Historical Perspective, an online magazine created by Ohio State’s Department of History.
