Neil Humphrey is a Historical Resources Program Administrator at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. His work highlights the often overlooked roles that environmental actors—from animals to minerals—had influencing human history. A native West Virginian, Neil earned his PhD in environmental history from The Ohio State University.
