Guido Rossi, Laurea, History, University of Milan (Italy); M.A., History, University of Southern Mississippi; Certificate of Public History, University of Southern Mississippi. Guido is a History Ph.D. Candidate at the Ohio State University. His research interests include the US military in World War II and American ethnic and immigrant history. His dissertation, tentatively titled Italian Yanks: Italian-American Service Members between Integration and Discrimination, 1941-1945, studies Italian-Americans’ military service during World War II and how it influenced their inclusion into American mainstream society and the production of modern Italian-American identity.
