Charles Norton is a linguist, interdisciplinary researcher, and Hip Hop teaching artist residing in Tucson, Arizona. He holds a PhD in Aesthetics from Université Paris Nanterre and has worked as a full-time faculty at Morehouse College, Arizona State University, Université Paris Diderot, and Coastal Carolina University. His creative practice uses recycled materials to create Hip Hop haute couture & fine jewelry. He currently works as an Assistant Professor of Practice in Hip Hop Cinema in the Department of Africana Studies at the University of Arizona.
